PRISTINA, 10. NOV. 2016 – Boris Johnson has announced that cooperation with the special court for the former Kosovo Albanian paramilitary KLA (“Kosovo Liberation Army”) war crimes was “very important for Kosovo.” The British foreign secretary spoke in the Kosovo Assembly in Pristina, underlining that “all those guilty of war crimes, on all sides, should be locked up.” Johnson added that he would say the same in Belgrade. “Cooperating with the special court for war crimes is so important for Kosovo, however difficult this may be,” he said, noting that London would be monitoring the work of the court closely. “Britain wants Kosovo to be a force of peace and stability in the whole Western Balkans, and that must include achieving a normal relationship with Serbia,” he said.
